Story Of The Year (conocidos también por sus siglas SOTY) es una banda de Post-Hardcore, formada originalmente en St. Louis, Missouri en 1995. Inicialmente se llamaron Big Blue Monkey, pero cambiaron en el 2002 a Story of the Year ya que un grupo de blues tomó el nombre de Blue Monkey. Hasta ahora, Story Of The Year han lanzado tres álbumes de estudio, el más reciente, ''The Black Swan'', lanzado el 22 de abril de 2008 por Epitaph, pero se espera un nuevo álbum para el 16 de febrero de 2010, titulado ''The Constant''.

Personalmente, me gusta mucho esta banda =D y estoy esperando muy ansioso el nuevo disco!!!

todavía no escuché los discos U_U shame on me!

pero los temas que escuché me gustaron, aunque no me llamaron tanto al principio... pero me ganaron con.. el tema y video de "the antidote" .

edit 2: ok, me declaro enamorada de las letras de sus canciones "políticas". Expresan LO MISMO que pienso yo! O.O
